Florida is uniquely vulnerable to climate change, and it’s home to high profile wars over the right to vote. Congressional candidates are more willing to speak out about both than candidates for state legislature. Oddly, despite the “sunshine state” reputation and the very public corruption at Florida Power & Light, few candidates are promoting solar power. In the open 13th Congressional District, Eric Lynn is running a solid race against a nutjob catering to the fringe.
