Here’s how to decode Alaskan politicians’ campaign positions on oil drilling: “don’t drill in sensitive habitat” = drill. “Consult Tribes before drilling” – drill. We’re noting the few Alaska leaders willing to speak out against more drilling. Although signature verification in remote areas is impractical in a vote-by-mail state, few leaders are speaking out in favor of voting reforms.
