Oregon's fifth district

Jamie McLeod-Skinner

Jamie McLeod-Skinner is an attorney, engineer, and small business owner. She’s lead her city's post-wildfire recovery efforts, won election to her County Education Service District, and is appointed by Governor Brown to the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board.

Her website lists “addressing the climate crisis” as her top priority, and she’s signed the No Fossil Fuel Money pledge.

Jamie beat the Blue Dog Kurt Schrader in the primary, but now she faces a MAGA extremist in the general election. Jamie's opponent denies the science of climate change, wants to ban abortions at six weeks — before many women even know they’re pregnant — and took big donations from fossil fuels and polluters while abusing taxpayer money for limo rides, a golf tournament, and trips San Francisco and Nashville for her business.
