Speaking of voting rights, the Republican-dominated state legislature has been eroding them. And Republicans are dangerously close to winning supermajorities in both chambers, which means that they could override the Governor’s veto on anything and everything. Vote like your right to a liveable climate depends on it.

Voting rules and how to vote:

The early voting period for the 2022 general election begins Thursday, October 20, 2022, and ends at 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Click here for more information on voting early. Any North Carolina registered voter may request, receive, and vote a mail-in absentee ballot.
