Nina Turner was, from 2009 to 2014, a state senator representing the eastern parts of Cuyahoga County. However, you probably know her as an outsized national presence: chair of the board of Our Revolution (2016-19), host of the "Hello Somebody" podcast, and a national co-chair of Bernie Sanders’ 2020 presidential run.
Nina Turner has a proven track record as a fighter for progressive values and against complacency. The Green New Deal needs outspoken progressives with national megaphones. In Congress, Nina will speak out, shake up the status quo, and fight against business-as-usual politicians of both parties.
