Jamie McLeod-Skinner is an attorney, engineer, and small business owner. She’s lead her city's post-wildfire recovery efforts, won election to her County Education Service District, and is appointed by Governor Brown to the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board.
Her website lists “addressing the climate crisis” as her top priority, and she’s signed the No Fossil Fuel Money pledge.
Jamie has a once-in-a-blue-moon shot at ousting the Blue Dog Kurt Schrader. Schrader takes fossil fuel money, and has one of the worst environmental voting records in the Democratic Party. He undermined President Biden's Build Back Better bill, which is why local Democrats are ready for change: 90 percent of in-district climate hawks voted to endorse Jamie McLeod-Skinner.
