Doyle is a lawyer, progressive organizer, and national strategist for the climate movement. She has also been a longstanding and outspoken advocate against the Jordan Cove LNG project off the Oregon coast.
That’s important in the Fourth District because fully 50 percent of likely voters in this primary would be less likely to support a candidate who backed Jordan Cove. Canning's opponent backed the giant fracked gas export terminal, while Doyle has steadfastly opposed it.
