Cheri Beasley knows that the US must tackle the climate crisis, and must do it now. She supports efforts to reduce carbon emissions 50 percent by 2030, investing in climate-resilient infrastructure, expanding North Carolina’s renewable energy industry, and worker training for clean energy jobs. She's also an advocate for environmental justice efforts that address the disproportionate impacts of pollution and climate change on vulnerable communities.
Cheri supports the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, and she doesn’t take corporate PAC money.
